To celebrate the launch of the Focus RS Stoneacre Ford dealership in Doncaster held an RS weekend on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th May 2016. This gave soon to be owners or potential owners a chance to get up close to the car and even get behind the wheel if they so desired to see if the new Mk3 Focus RS would live up to the hype. Stoneacre who are well known in the Ford RS circles also used their long list of contacts to round up some special Ford cars for the weekend that carry the famous RS badge from years gone by. Also on site was a rally simulator, prizes, food and much more. Mk3 Focus RS Club sent down their film crew to check out the day and here is a few minute video summary of what happened.

As you can see the car got some fantastic feedback and a few more names were put in the RS order book. After the success this event could well turn into an annual event and so it should it’s so refreshing having a group of enthusiasts the share the love for the RS badge and what it stands for.

Marcel thoroughly enjoyed his day chaperoning the test drives throughout the weekend and would like to thank everyone for coming along to make the day a fantastic success.
