First Focus RS cars leave the factory

Get the flags out! The first batch of the new Ford Focus RS models have left the factory in Saarlouis Germany.

This has been a very long time coming for eager Ford fans who have had to wait as long as 14 months since placing their initial deposit way back in January 2015. Ford have had a few ‘production issues’ but all seems to have been resolved now and these photos will delight many people from all over the world. These picture taken today at Vlissingen, Flushing Port in the Netherlands which approximately 400km North of the Saarlouis Ford plant in Germany. The next stop for these cars should be Dagenham, Essex UK where the cars will be released to Ford dealerships next month and hopefully to owners will get their cars very soon after that.

Some of these cars may be demonstrator vehicles but even if they are it is still a welcome sign to see the first few Mk3 RS cars leave the factory. Stay patient folks it will all be worth the wait!
