White was around 1230, was at the bottom of the A12 exit slip road in Marks Tey – Bonnet vents and red decals on car – gave it a boot full to get onto the roundabout – nice touch

Black off of Cowdray Avenue around 1400, number plate ending DAN

Marks Tey slip road is a good one tho, I remember the time was national speed limit between the 2 roundabouts and the Night Club up the road was Kings Night Club. Happy memories 🙂

@eruliaf I look back at my nights at Kings and the Hippodrome and racing down cowdry avenue in XR3’s and RS Turbos as some of best years of my youth….found memories and to think now my kids are old enough to go out time just flys by 🙁

I should have updated the total on my list of registered RS Mk3

7530 to 7533 I forgot the 3 rarest models

The rarest RS must be the RS50 Evocation Special Edition. Just three of these were built by Mountune on commission from Ford UK to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the RS marque. Besides the M400 kit (alloy intercooler, high-flow chargepipe, 200-cell catalyst etc) they had forged pistons, ARP studs, balance shaft delete, a 20 percent shorter-throw shifter, DCC adjustable coilovers, rear spoiler extension and a fair few other bits. Two of the cars were in Frozen White, and the other was in Nitrous Blue. It is said that the blue one is being kept by Ford.

It’s been reported that one is in Northern Ireland and the other is in the U.K.
