    Welcome Paul

If miles / gallon are a thing for you, steer clear of the RS.

If its smiles / gallon your after, get one.

    @DaveRS3 🤣🤣

Welcome Paul. You’ll be lucky to get half that mpg but you will get a big smile on your face to go with it 😉👍

MG no mods but flaps and a lovely new RS knob

I think if you average a steady 60mph you might get 40mpg, constant 70mph is probably a gnats over 30mpg on a run? I get 29 round town and have been known to get 40mpg over a 60mile journey.

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

My avg. is 19mpg, always in sport mode with SoCal stop and go traffic.

I would not trade my RS.

    Hi and welcome.

I changed from a 2ltr skoda vrs that was doing close to 60mpg. Never regretted it once. I do however use the wife’s hybrid Puma for long runs so I still get the best of both worlds.

I started a new job which is only 20 miles away but it’s A roads and doing usually 30-60 mph with the occasional foot down to overtake.. 5 days and a full tank which is about £70 now and that’s 90% in normal mode. Looking for a second car now 😂

    I’m running m400x map

Paul, the 335 compared to the RS is not really apples for apples comparison.

A friend of mine had one and it’s much more of a comfortable ‘cruising car’ than the RS. I mean that in a good way!

Take a test drive in an RS and you’ll see the difference within the first 1/2 mile.

    Good luck!
