Hi all

I’m very new to this. This is the first forum I’ve ever joined, but it seemed like the right thing to do.

I collected my nitrous blue RS in December 2016 and I love it. Apparently so does everyone else – it regularly turns heads and gets beeps from the truckers and nods from the bikers. Every time it pops and bangs I feel like an excited child again! Perhaps what surprises people most is that they expect to see a bloke behind the wheel?!

I’m based in the south west and have only seen a handful down this way.

I opted for white fifteen52 tarmacs on mine and a number plate appropriate to the car. I’m considering a stage 1 remap for it, so any advice or first hand experience would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

    Rachel

Welcome aboard Rachel, you have joined the best club/forum in my humble opinion, great members and lots of advise as well as club days meets etc

I have just had the FPM375 kit fitted to my NB and can recommend that but of course there lots of other options to look at.

Do you have any pics of your RS you can post?, be good to see one with fifteen52’s on, also what is your car history out of interest?

    Collection dayWedding car

Here’s a couple – the first was on collection day, the second was for our friends wedding.

My first car was a Clio RSi 1.8 8v – not the best option for a 17 yr old with no driving experience, I loved that car but needless to say it wasn’t long until it met its untimely demise. I’ve had a couple of diesels for commuting – a 206 D Turbo and Fabia VRS that was remapped. The Fabia served me well as I clocked up nearly 100k miles in the couple of years I had it, then I sold it to buy this machine.

I was talking to a guy at a show last weekend about a stage 1 Revo map, but to be honest I like the idea of maintaining the warranty. Besides my house, this is the next most expensive investment I’ve made, so Mountune is probably the way I’ll go.

Looking good, nice to see a NB without the forged wheels lol

Same reasons I went for the mountune upgrade couldn’t deal with ford knocking back a warranty claim if something went wrong

Enjoy and will no doubt see you at a show or 2 this year, you got any in your diary?

There’s nothing more appealing than seeing a woman drive a car like this; seeing an appealing woman driving a car like this is very appealing indeed. Three appealings in one sentence, I don’t think it’s ever been done before! Welcome to the forum. ??

I used a pretty bird as an avatar to bring some brightness to the forum.

Having some lovely lasses on board is a far better enhancement than any mods that people can add to their cars.

    New plates go on soon.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Darren I’m in Tavistock, Devon, where abouts are you?

<p style=”text-align: left;”>rsdom I’d like to get to a few shows this year. I was just reading about Ford Fair at Silverstone on here earlier, so I’ll be looking to see if I can get the weekend off work for that, especially if there’s club tickets still available. There’s also BHP fuel fest in Exeter in a few weeks time so may head up to that one too. ?
