Hi, I’m Joe from the north east, bought a 17 plate MK3 in NB about 5 weeks ago, only came across this site this morning.  The car is stock, no mechanical mods, absolutely love the car………

Hi, yes, car is daily runner, as for mods, my son is doing his best to talk me into getting a scorpion exhaust as a starter but any mods will be next year, just gonna enjoy it as it is for now……

Very nice Joe !  I see the previous owner put the obligatory “RS” decals on the rear spoiler uprights and air intake pipe and filter box lid.

No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

I found the car on auto trader at an Evans Halshaw garage in Chester, the only description was it’s price and colour.  Got my son to get more details as he works for ford Evans Halshaw here in the north east and it turns out the guy who traded it in (for a new focus st) was 72 years old, had a service plan with ford yet provided all the parts for the service inc oil himself which tells me he looked after the car.  One owner from new, full ford service history, recall done at 9000 miles (now 22000 miles) and not a blemish on the paint work.  My son even went over to Chester to pick the car up and the guy must who owned the car can’t of ragged it about as the average mpg on pick up was either 33.9 or 34.9 mph.  So hopefully I’ve a very good car here (touch wood).
