Having decided in the current climate (WFH etc) that we really didn’t need 2 cars finally managed to persuade OH to trade in Stealth Grey Focus ST3 for an RS Magnetic Grey, no mods but already fitted Ghost immobiliser. I did have to sell my Fiesta ST3 too ๐Ÿ˜ฌ but we are now a one car family. Decided it had to have standard seats but didn’t realise they weren’t full leather however the drive certainly makes up for the disappointment ๐Ÿ˜‚

Already picked up some useful info from this site and some seat covers ๐Ÿ‘

Not planning any performance mods as it’s fast enough for me but may get a new gear knob, bonnet extension and possibly wind deflectors.

Welcome Ruth! Glad you are sorting the security out.

I miss my Fiesta ST but the RS is another league.

    Have fun!

Thanks Stu, hadn’t realised what a bonus the immobiliser was until reading about recent thefts and theft attempts on here. To be fair both our previous cars were at risk but clearly not as desirable to the thieving toe rags out there!! ๐Ÿคฌ

Welcome to the forum @Ruth_Goreham ,

It infuriated me what forearm laws you guys have there, and those criminals are taking advantage of it!

Enjoy the forums, you are in good company. ๐Ÿ‘

@Ruth welcome to the RS forum. Many security devices will slow the little toe rags down, some visible some hidden. Take care.

    Welcome Ruth!

I would highly recommend a Disklok as well, but the Ghost is a great start! Enjoy ๐Ÿ™‚

Welcome Ruth, magnetic was my first choice when I ordered mine originally but couldn’t resist the blue in the end.

Thanks for the welcome everyone ๐Ÿ‘

I don’t think there’s a bad colour choice and I really like the NB but as a lady of a certain age the MG was more becoming……and a change from the Stealth on the ST3.

Will certainly consider a Disklok when we are finally allowed to go further afield but it’s debadged at the back and doesn’t really draw attention when pulled right on the drive.

I’ve called him Roscoe, not nearly as amusing as the ‘Fanny’ I’ve seen on here ๐Ÿ˜‚
