    There is one-for sale with Ceramic brake upgrade £6k. For the brake upgrade alone. And that’s probably a major concern the residuals £45k now is probably £25k at three years. But it’s a good car and is a proper drivers car.

    Ceramic brakes are pointless on the road……  it’s just for willy waving.

    My friends got a 69 plate M2C, spent a small fortune on it recently. Doubt my RS will keep up with it now it’s Litchfield stage 2 520bhp.

    Brakes were the worse part and he’s gone for Alcon upgrade front and rear so try and find one with the performance caliper upgrade.

    Coast, I did have a look at them too, but only for  about a day, 2 door is now too impractical for me, and I like the hatchback where you can get lots of biggish stuff in compared to the smallish boot aperture of the M2, plus, the more I looked at the rear quarter and rear 3/4 view, it just seemed as if it was all wrong somehow, the back looks like its been hit up the arse, you have a long front end and the back doesnt balance it in  my opinion, it looks wrong !

    No nothing.

    No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

    Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

    If you are not pushed for space, have a gander at the Cayman GTS?

    Not driven either, but get the impression Cayman is one of sweetest handling cars this side of a GT3RS?

    Porsche build quality, fit and finish a given.

    Regards

    @bobcat

    Just had a call from garage that have the car Longbeach blue, the depreciation is a massive part of my thought process. RS only on the way up or holding steady, £20k down inside three years with the beemer. Nice car though.

    @WAWRS

    I also couldnt go down in power.

    @mike4051, let your mate have a go at you in the wet with his beemer when you are in the RS…
