Always wanted one but it was time for her to have a new to us vehicle. She loves it which means I love it, what are some of the first mods I should do?

Put something under the carpet under the throttle pedal so she can only get half throttle !

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

1st mods. Simple. If it don’t have any already then extra security.

after that choice is endless, more power, Handling and braking to name a few but just enjoy it. They great cars standard or modified.

welcome to the club, any pics?

🤣🤣C/A keep it simple unless you are a real modded , as the guys say get some picks up and we can all see what she like,  as turbo tone says the car 🤣🤣I take it it’s standard as your asking about mods , lots available but be weary as a lot of folks on this forum who have started a project and wished they hadn’t, alas some through no fault of there own,  there is the dreaded head gasket issue that keeps arising, but that all depends on the year , good luck anyway keep them pics coming.

71-bda, no need for such antiquated way to limit speed, do what I did give u misus “mykey” limit her to 80mph”warning comes up at 70mph”, no changing of electronic driving modes, limit the volume of car entertainment system 🤣🤣🤣🤣

    Hi Chad, welcome.

You are one lucky man to have a wife that likes this car. She deserves to drive this car properly. Before thinking about tuning the engine I would suggest some bare necessities:

    1. Lower the seat if it’s a shell, maybe with additional rake.
    2. Raise the gas pedal.
    3. Install the DSC suspension controller.

Then let her go to where the roads twist more. I’m sure she will have a lot of fun. Cheers, Frenk 😎

    Welcome Chad.

1st things 1st, buy new buckets and mitts for her to wash it, get her a nice fragranced shampoo, she’ll like that. 👍
