Was going to replace my front brake pads today and have run into a problem. The calliper’s lower pin is stuck solid.

I unscrewed the 13mm centre bolt, knocked out the upper pin no problem just using a centre punch and a hammer. Removed the spring. Then tried the removing the lower pin but it completely refuses to move. Not even a millimetre.

Manage to push the pistons back so the pad does slide on the pin, although it took some persuasion.

I’ve tried soaking it it “Shock n Unlock”, ditto WD40, even applied a little heat to it. Nothing will make the thing budge.

Open to any ideas at this point!!!!
