Hello mrl yes I remember you been a few years now thanks for all your reply’s so can fords tell if you revert back to standard map when taking it in for any work or servicing.

i really thought I would go mountune but every Time I look every thing is out of stock that’s what brought me onto the dream science would love to go in one with the map on to see how well it goes

They did not notice that I was flashed with Dreamscience Ultima map when it was in for warranty (transfer gear-box broken).

Dreamscience also tells they can not be detected. If you flash the ECU, it will reset the IGNCNTR (ignition counter) to Zero.

But I did flash back to stock just before driving to the dealer and there was no reset of IGNCNTR on their laptop =D so pretty safe 😀

love the dreamscience. Have it in the car always to put instantly back to stock if engine blows and I call Ford Assistance to pick up car.

you can also plug-in the device and check parameters while driving…but do not flash while engine is runnig but i think this should be clear 😀

Quick question when you load the Dream Science, the car is in normal mode.Is the dream science active all

the time in normal mode ?.Is the sport mode not needed for the extra power.

Yeah it’s active all the time but advise you to run it in sport mode with traction control off, I just leave mine in sport mode with it left on and feels brilliant, it doesnt give full performance till oil temps are up

sport mode should be your “normal” mode anyway with map or stock 😀

all what crocket wrote is correct. but still drive car until oil is over 70° without any boost.

Had the dream science put on today.Got to say the car now feels light on it’s feet and more like a 350bhp car.

I personally thought it only used to feel like a 300bhp car on a straight road, probably it’s weight.

I had a 350/350 Subaru and the Rs feels quicker now.

Excellent mod and well worth the money in my opinion.

I have the imap with different updates on it.I bought it off a friend who sold his Focus Rs back in November.

He said I need to run it on 99 which I did anyway.I have been out for 2 hours trying different types of roads, all private.

The car is running great. The power is very strong and progressive all the way through the rev range after 2.5k.

I have not got,or want to put any more mods on the car.I just felt the car had more to offer and it certainly does.

    To sum up,I love it.

I tried running the ultima 2+ on mine, I’m running mountune induction, mountune recirc, ssc and hard piping but it felt like it had a few flat spots, I know it’s meant for exhaust and intercooler upgrade but thought I’d give it a go, now running the ultima and can’t complain, it pulls like a train?

My friend is a mechanic at Evans Halshaw in Manchester. He went to Hull ? for all his training for

Dream science mods.He said that he had replaced a head gasket yesterday on a focus Rs.No issues.

It was the First One done there.

I am finding a flat spot as well on it. Might try just the 2 and if that is the same I’ll just put it back to the ultimate map. That’s the best one  on so far

That’s good to know Hammy, least it wasn’t just me then, might be worth a message to them to ask their opinion on it! When I spoke to them they said to use the ultima 2+ but thought that was just for exhaust upgrade, I found it flat around 2.5k is that about the same?
