    DESCRIPTION

This is the DBA XS 4000 Series Drilled and Slotted Rotor. This particular rotor has been designed for the front location to significantly improve the braking performance when compared to the OEM rotor. The XS 4000 series rotor contains several design features which include their non-directional XS cross-drill and slot design which eliminates the need for left and right discs.

The XS 4000 Series rotor also features the DBA Kangaroo Paw with its 144 diamond and tear drop pillar ventilation system. This creates more surface area which will allow for greater dissipation. This will also minimize brake fade which increases braking effectiveness. The rotor has been fabricated from XG150 High Carbon Alloyed Iron which will increase thermal capacity and to allow the rotor to handle constant extremes of heat over extended periods of time. This will minimize the threat of warping and cracking. And like most examples of DBA rotors, the XS 4000 series will come with the Thermographic Temperature Monitoring system which are paint markings that change color on the rotor to let the driver know what brake pad works best for their particular driving style.

The non-friction areas on the rotor will come painted to reduce corrosion and prohibits unwanted rust. All of these elements will make for an excellent rotor upgrade that can be used for both the street or the track.

Sold individually for the front location

    RS Edition.
