Finally got the EBC discs and pads fitted by one of our techs two days ago. The pads were well fast in the calipers, all sorted without any paint damage, top job James.

Nicely bedded in now and well pleased with the performance and look of them.

Next job is the Tractive suspension fitment, next year.

Morning mate!! Excellent choice with the brakes, I’ve had these on the rear for about 6 months now and on the front for 2 months and must say I’m very happy with them!! A definite improvement in braking and they look pretty good too!! ??. The only thing you may notice is a slight ticking noise from the front when your window is down but that’s common with this style of brakes. It’s supposed to lessen over time.

I couldn’t justify the money for a big brake conversion as my RS is outside 365 days a year and sits idle for 3 weeks at a time when I’m at work. These Brakes didn’t cost much more than OEM, Rear Discs and Pads £200 and Front Discs and Pads £400…. ??. I’ve got EBC braided lines to fit next time home and some 5.1 Fluid to swap out then that’ll be the brakes done!!

    Cheers, Marc.

A worthy upgrade in terms of performance and looks. This is on my list of things to do.  Good work.

    How much are they?

Certainly something I’d consider doing when the existing set need replacing.

Just over £600. Original brakes were well worn at 23000 miles.

That’s a pretty good price – can see those going on to mine when they need changing

Great choice!  I had EBC on both of my Evo IX and X in the past.

    Stop on a dime!

Good work there @elliot, I’m looking at a similar setup to mine as the originals are about worn out.  Did you change to braided hoses and 5.1 brake fluid too ?

The Tractive setup is very good, as @white-rs2 says, it is flipping awesome !
