Exhaust on Finance RS- no go?

Hi all,

I’m desperate to have an exhaust system fitted to my RS.

But my RS I ordered is on finance.

Is getting one of those exhaust systems fitted to my car simply a “no go”?

It’s just a pain as the only exhaust system warranty approved is the axle-back by Mountune and there’s a supplier issue at the moment (none being made.)

Pleased, feedback on this would be very much appreciated!! Anyone else out there have an RS on finance who’s fitted an exhaust system that’s not Mountune’s??

Alot of dealers are ok with cat back systems regarding warranty. Maybe check with your dealership

So without sounding silly, what do I actually say to the guy at Ford?
Also from your knowledge, what is the best exhaust system in terms of noise (I’d want loud, a good roar) and most pops and bangs? Thank you!

Yes some dealers are ok with cat back so best to ask the question if I was to change to an aftermarket cat back exhaust system do I still maintain my warranty.

Have just emailed my Ford salesman.

It says “venom” isn’t for road use as it’ll exceed road noise limits. Are you aware of this?

This will be my 3rd brand new car from different manufacturers and never once has exhaust mods been any issue with warranty.  Dunno how it is on other sides of the pond but here in the US the dealerships don’t give a flying fuck.  90% of the time they don’t even notice it’s not stock.
