Faraday Pouch/Wallet Delete – Keyfob Mod

I was thinking of a way of not having to keep putting my key fob into my faraday wallet each time a couple of these wallets have became un-stitched in the past so decided to mod my key fob by adding a little slider switch to effectively disable the battery and switching off the fob completely at a flick of a switch.
Now when I walk up to the car I can turn fob on unlock car then when parking I lock the car then simply slide the switch to ‘off’ position and the car won’t unlock when I try the handle…it’s not for everyone as I had to remove the key fob key chain ring at the top but this was the only position I could find on the fob to fit the switch without making an unsightly hole in the fob. I am thinking of buying a fob cover to resolve the key ring issue plus when it was in the faraday pouch you couldn’t fit many other keys in the wallet with the fob anyway!
