One of my work colleagues recently paid £1 per kWh during a service station stop. The battery is rated at 76 kWh, do the maths.

    More electric nonsense

Ford announced a few years ago that it will drop all cars in favour of SUV’s and trucks due to such low margins.

It doesn’t sound like there will be an electric car to replace it.

Will be very sad. The Fiesta is one hell of an Icon, still loved by the masses but then I guess the Escort was the same.

Just hope they do a last edition RS version to send it off properly. But Ford don’t build cars for their customers, just their accountants.

@DaveRS3, I don’t think Ford will do an RS Fiesta exit edition. I think they might just do a finale edition on the ST 🤔

Fiesta electric is allegedly using VW platform for 2024/25 to save development costs 😳

Yep they don’t make anything on them, building in Germany isn’t helping the cost …  😉  … Apparently 3-4 new models will be announced for 23/4….

interesting the top UK selling car is the Corsa…. there is demand for a small hatch.

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

@bda, have a word with your dealership, it would be worth mentioning that you would be interested in the ST especially if/when they do the Finale end of production Edition but if not you’ll have the standard ST with extras. The Finale Edition no choice paint, wheels, limited extras. We will have to see what the bean counters allow 🙃😵‍💫

Bob, I dont think there will be a final edition, they have only just started taking orders/making them again after a few months halted production, if they are going to pull the plug June next year I dont think they will have time or inclination to do anything special.
