    I changed my forged wheels to magnetite standards this year and never liked the rubbish black finish on the forged so I have had them refurbed in palladium grey and going to use them for my winters.
    They have done a great job.
    I will get some photos of them fitted in a few weeks when it gets colder.

    Is that paint or are they powder coated ?

    it is paint but with a powder coat lacquer designed for wheels and is more durable.

    Shadow chrome here, looks lighter or darker depends on the angle and light direction.

    Had mine done in smoked chrome about 4 months ago, as much as I like it I do miss the black and it’ll be definitely be going back soon.

    much like 9designs they look different depending on lighting and angles

    That looks alot better Mark – similar colour to what I’m gonna have mine done in.  Once done they will only be going on car for the March to October period after which I’ll replace them with the Magnetite rims.

    I think shadow and smoked is the same process, mine were meant to be a bit darker. Not an easy process to get right. When they are dirty with dust they don’t look as bad as the standard black did.
