front discs £55 the pair from Rates

I spoke to Wayne at rates grays, who confirms it should have been a pair.

A new order foc placed should be delivered tomorrow as I am only 50 miles from Daventry ford ndc.

I bet it was original a sick up and should have been £55 each disc, but will take it at £55 for pair, nice in current climate to actually get a deal in my favour.

Mine were out for delivery with DHL and the van broke down and they got returned to the depot, redelivery for tomorrow so I’ll see how many turn up!

Got one disc delivered 😂😂 rang Rates spoke to nice guy in parts, sent message via eBay so I wait! I bet that’s cost them a fortune he said the forum’s had got on to it and it was a nightmare!

just received my second disc, this one was wrapped in rustproof paper, got some rustproof paper on order for other disc.

I suppose these do have the black paint round the centre like the cars originally came with and are not just bare steel all over?

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

As they don’t come with anti rust paper, I’m going to coat them up liberally with some Castrol R to stop um rusting, quick wipe with petrol before fitting them in a yr or so and Oh yeah will smell lovely,  like a classic 500gp race when I bed them in 🤣

My other disc for the pair arrived this morning with DHL. Good on Rates for upholding the deal for a pair – obviously a cock up and now the eBay listing is double the price for the pair.
