    Does anyone know the proper speck of Ford oil for the gearbox? I bought two litres a few months back from Ford and was given 75w FE. Still needed a top up, so I went back to Ford for another litre and they have gave me Ford BO-DC transmission oil.

    If it’s taken more than 2ltrs you have a leak, the capacity is defo under 2ltrs. Just go onto ford website

    Thanks for that.  It took just over two litres as the gearbox was completely empty due to being stripped down to fit a quafie diff
