Hey there, so my go fast bits bov is venting in 6th gear going up a slight hill cruising at 100kph. Is this normal?

@bobcat hey mate yes I fit the sub was fairly difficult with the whole broken ankle gig so I’ve wired it all up and for now its sitting under the seat but I haven’t been able to make a bracket yet to hold it I will do some photos soon. I set it up so it’s all removable. I T’d into the wiring harness with push on crimps that go over the wire (the original car harness) and the sub harness is just pushed thru too clamped sorta. Also I forgot to order a fuse piggy back I think it’s called so I just crimped onto a acc wire on the same plug as the rest of the harness for the stereo. The sub makes a big difference alot more depth and sounds wicked like I say all the mods I’ve done so far are reversible.

    martin logan bass bins…

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

This might be interesting for all us rs owners I had an email from g.f.b they have said more or less that the ecu in steady state will vent the bov ie cruising so if any of you have this issue it’s fine there are things u cn do to fix or help mitigate it. I thought that the ecu may be commanding the bov to vent to retain fuel efficiency. Which is what seems to be the case.
