    Got mine with the winter tire package.  It handles the snow well with the following caveats:

    1.  This is a low ground clearance AWD car, so mind the deep drifts.

    2.  The factory undertray is very fragile and is useless in any kind of packed snow.  Numerous posts on the RS forum:   http://www.focusrs.org/forum/forum.php

    In spite of the winter testing, they produced a car with an undertray that for some owners, shredded on the first outing in serious snow.  That convinced me to buy an aluminum undertray and bypass the problem.  I may use the OEM undertray in summer.
