Hi folks. I have recently come back to Ford ownership following the best part of a 20 year break having previously owned a series 2 RST. Had a variety of makes and models in between from a Subaru to various VW’s. Loving my mk3 NB RS, had it in January and still makes me smile every time I start the car, which has recently not been very often. (something to do with a virus going around). Was a choice between this and a civic type R but there was only ever goint to be one winner for me. Currently trying to resist the urge of going for more power but I don’t know how long this will last.

    Hello turbo tone,

Welcome to the forum. Good choice and I’m sure you will love the focus RS!

    Any plans for it?

Sounds like you have had a few other nice bits of metal. Any pics of your old cars?

Wev’e got one in our group as well as an RS1600i.

The bumper stripe was one thing I did not change. Loved that car, sounded really nice with the induction kit and the full mongoose system although long journeys it was a bit too much. Eventually traded it in for a Peugeot (please don’t hate me for that car choice) 106 gti in black with black leather which was great until it got written off
