New to this forum, been on others for a while. Just got my 3rd Focus RS, 1st mk3. Currently in ford for a possible engine replacement after 13 days of ownership. Not a great start but oh well, lucky i still have my mk2, and ford have lent me their demo mk3 while mines in. Anyways i have slightly veered off subject so hello to all 🙂

    Hello Sam,

Welcome to the club. Can I ask how many miles your car has done and when it was built?

I have had my car for three months and I’ve done a thousand miles.

    Kind regards

    Ged

No it was 6 months old, registered december16 built november 16 (should have been the “updated”engine from sept16) car 2,700 miles on clock when i picked it up, as soon as i got home i noticed it had no coolant in it so wouldnt be able to tell you when the faukt started, but definiatly before i picked it up. Filled it from min to max 3 times in 10 days.

Hope it doesn’t spoil the Mk3 RS experience completely. Good luck with the new engine. Remember to run it in before thrashing.

@RSam, any chance, when you get the car back, of some pics of the two of them together? My last RS was a FW Mk2 but sadly I don’t have the room to keep the two of them.
