Ordered my RS in December 2015 have had numerous delays but have been notified vehicle has been built and awaiting shipping ETA first week of April

Yea definitely been a waiting game but in all honesty I am glad it will be a 2017 model with sync 3.

And unfortunately with Sydney more dealers =less allocations per dealer

I put down 8 holding deposits for a Manual XR8 Falcon Sprint or a RS Focus in October 2015.

Missed out of Sprint in NSW and got a cancelled order from QLD redirecred to me in NSW.

All deposits were returned by dealers except one who offered me an RS. Initial offer witbout wheel/tyre upgrade in Dec 2016. Expecred delivery in April 2017 too.

Did you request wheel/tyre upgrade? There was a delay with the Sport Cup 2 tyres and  optional rims

I did opt for the wheel and tyre package that sounds like it could be a reason for the last delay went from January to end of March early April

Im just hoping there will be no more delays my patience is wearing thin

I used the ship tracker putting my VIN number in Cargo ID field and it said mine has arrived at Port Kembla as dealer in Wollongong Area. Maybe try as may have come ashore earlier. Customs does cause delays too. Ship for me is the TALISMAN

I haven’t asked for the VIN number yet from the dealer did you ever receive the email from Ford saying it had been shipped?

Last email I received from Ford was in early January saying they were building the vehicle

I asked for VIN as soon as I got first email. I suggest you ask for it.

I have got both emails The build and the ship.

The Ship tracking website says its delivered to Port Kembla. I am suspicious so I will be asking tomorrow why the misinformation?

Maybe they want to display in dealership?

I would definitely investigate further the time period of when the shipped arrived is around the time of the hail storm in Port Kembla

I work in the industry and we were informed some of our stock and about 3000 vehicles from multiple brands were damaged by hail

I will be getting my VIN today hopefully
