    I thought a 130MPH average lap on a bike looked pretty mental, heres a 128MPH av lap in a Subaru, I wish the RS would steer like this , with no veering and absolute trust in it flat out in all 6 gears…

    No nothing.

    No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

    Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

    Awesome and love it how he eases it into corners at 128mph! and no drama with a wheel on the grass at over 160mph ?

    @71-bda
    im sure the RS would with the same build budget?? ?? The rides a little bouncy tho? ?

    Gareth, I could not imagine doing 175 down those lanes, 160 on a straight long smooth stretch of autobahn is hairy enough, hes actually turning the wheel at those speeds to take fooking bends !! Balls of steel innit

    Oh yeah…. I’ve only been off the clock once in one of my cars! As you said didn’t have to turn tho… Shite myself, but that was in a scooby, and it went straight. Until a woman in a blue focus went straight in the side of it ? ??

    Bloody insane. Swerving about at 100mph to warm tires up. All the different noises the car makes is beautiful. The world will be a boring place when evs take over

    That’s a proper driver in an a well prepared motor. Had he had more top speed he would have broken the bike record.

    Mark Higgins great driver and a nice bloke, remember watching a rally about 8 years ago and a helicopter landed near us he got out with others from a team and stood by us to watch some of the rally, chatted to everyone.

    The lap record at the tt is 135.452 held by Peter Hickman 53 seconds quicker than the Subaru
