    The Day I collected;

    Then it was off to Chris Griffiths for a new car detail and Ceramic Coating;

    Before I even picked up the car, I had collected a few bits for it;

    Including a new Gen ford Bonnet;

    First up was a trip to Demon Performance Centre to have some bits fitted.  This included an Eventuri Induction kit, Turbosmart Shortie, Mountune SSC and Lower Torq Mount;

    some DMB Gels and a painted engine cover to spice it up a bit under the bonnet;

    The bonnet was then fitted, along with a NBS bonnet lifter kit;

    The car was then in for a wheel swap, keeping the standard michelin tyres on the Revo alloys;

    Next up, it was in the body shop for the calipers to be painted. Decided on Yellow brakes when I first ordered the car;

    Sico Development J hook front discs were also fitted;

    The Next day was Ford Fair! And on the Sico Development Stand;

    Nice ! How does the quickshift feel? sweet?

    No nothing.

    No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

    Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

    The car was then back at Demon Performance Centre for a Revo Remap and a week later on the Rollers at Riverside Racing to see what it produced;

    Then it was over to BCS for them to develop their 200 Cell sports cat and 90mm Downpipe;

    Well please with the results, and would recommend BCS to anyone.  Their Customer service is great and their products are even better.

    Finally, back at demon Pete Thursday/Friday Quaiffe Diff fitting;

    Also fitted a Breedt Short shifter;

    Thats it for now, Was supposed to be having a lot more fitted on the Friday but various parts didnt turn up or manufactured in time.

    So will be back in November for;

    Intercooler, Oil Cooler, Catch Can Kit, Billet Inlet Manifold, Devilsown Water Meth Kit and hopefully Stage 2 if it is released along with BCS finishing the rest of the exhaust system!

    Some Random pics;

    Still getting used to the quickshifter.

    Upto now, I dont think im too keen to be honest.  But, I’l probably get used to it and prefer it over standard if the reviews are anything to go by

    At first, I did expect more to be honest.  I wanted more grunt considering the price.

    But after having it on for 2 months I do love the sound of it, its not too much which I did want at first, but it is a daily so its probably right for me.  Plus it sounds like Darth Vader when you first start it up from cold!
