Lest we forget

Even more so this year I felt the need to create a tribute to remember the Falklands War and all those that served. This video is about HMS Coventry. It consists of extracts from a 50 min video entitled “Sea of Fire” which I have compiled into a small tribute to all those who lost their lives on HMS Coventry.

For when countries are in conflict,
Then we find the Sailor’s part,
Is to clean up all the troubles,
That the politicians start.
If we cannot do him honour,
While he’s here to hear the praise,
Then at least let’s give him homage,
At the ending of his days.
Perhaps just a simple headline, 
In the paper that might say:
“Our country is in mourning, for a sailor died today”

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

Can you just imagine the present day youth aspiring to anything approaching that?

With the threat of major conflict and possible return of conscription, the ‘non clapping’ snowflake brigade would strangely disappear and a massive exodus of  eligible youth back to countries of family origin?  Mind you, there are already plenty with skill in the use of knives and guns!

Exactly john.

We are now teaching children in schools and university to be embarrassed about our rich history and culture. They are being taught that the British where and still are evil colonisers who make all their money from the slave trade and theft from the 3rd world.

The truth is, Great Britain gave the modern world to the rest of the world including industry and subsequent quality employment, democracy and fair play for all human beings.
