MK3 Focus RS Front Footwell Lights

Hi – not got our car yet, but spec’ing up mods. Thinking of upgraded the front footwell lights, I assume these only come on when the door is opened, and are not on permanently like the submarine lighting? In the case they only come on when the doors open, then I’m thinking a white PED would be fine, and that red LED for the footwell isnt necessary. Am I correct in thinking the footwell lights only come on when the doors are opened?

No they are on all of the time, the red ones that come in the car arnt very bright.

ahh ok thanks, so like the submarine lighting. in that case, then upgrades are going to have to be red…
