    Hi all,

Quick question, I was just wondering if the M375 map is exactly the same as FPM375?

If so, does this theoretically mean that M375 would be “unofficially” warranty friendly IF you didn’t use the mTune handset? (Or at least if you didn’t use it to flash custom maps etc.)?

I’ve just renewed my Ford Protect warranty so want to keep the car as warranty-friendly as possible (I know Ford Protect don’t warrant the Mountune parts but they did say as long as the Mountune tune wasn’t the cause of any failure they’d still honour the warranty).

If not, does anywhere still offer FPM375? Got an enquiry out with FJRS currently but they’re a bit of a trek from me (in Buckinghamshire) so looking for somewhere a bit closer to home if poss.

    Cheers.

My local Ford dealer still runs adverts for it…

T C Harrison still have it listed on their website but they weren’t sure if they could still get it when I called them earlier. They’re going to get back to me tomorrow.

Otherwise I might have to take the change with M375.

All is well. FJRS still fit FPM375 and they’re not as far from me as I thought.

Hi, just out of interest what did you pay for your extended Ford protect warranty?

    Thanks

Sorry Mark, didn’t get an email notification to say you’d responded!

Too much is the answer… About £420 IIRC for a year. Although I had FPM fitted and an oil leak was found on the engine so may be about to put the warranty to the test…

Hi did you get sorted with the oil leak ? As I have the 375 on a red edition and offered ford protect for £30.65 and thinking of getting it for piece of mind but was unsure if cover the 375 or not ?

Ford have replaced something on the turbo feed line as they suspect that this is where the issue may have been (still not convinced). I didn’t pay a penny for the repair though (not even the excess on my warranty), so I’m not too sure if I’m honest.

Tobys, they changed my pipe and banjo washers etc etc  a year ago, it was pi$$ing out still 10 months and 1500 miles later, so I got the 2nd headgasket job done under warranty , well 2 weeks after its 5th birthday and warranty had expired but the job was diagnosed etc just on its 5th birthday !!

You’re going to need a headgasket.

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

Thanks, 71-bda. I’m already psyching myself up for that to be honest with you. I know it’s very unlikely to be the banjo washers and turbo feed line.

She’s going back in later to be checked over. I’m expecting the oil leak to have returned by then. Taking every opportunity I have to drive her hard (once the oil has warmed up) to try and force the leak to show again.
