So with the lack of child based events due to this beer virus, thought I would spend some time doing some work on the RS this weekend. Had the wheels off for a proper scrub.

To my surprise the Mountune SSC I paid to be fitted before I collected the car back in March 2018 wasn’t even on the car, did wonder why it was loud on start up….Unbelievable. This will be my second issue with SMC in as many weeks. I mean how fucking hard is it.

Well they fitted the recirculating valve, I fitted my own there only about £30, a bit tricky but doable. Once my warranty has expired I will do stuff that I can do, but any software stuff or major work I will need to do some research.

SMC Slough. I will just email Ford CRC direct to ask them to explain.

Thankfully I kept the new car sales invoice with it SSC clearly listed as a line item on the options.

Pretty poor show. Shame as the RS product is fantastic but the level of customer service has been really disappointing for me last two encounters with the dealership and complained on both occasions to head office. I am probably black listed:)

Where the RS is concerned, the level of expertise and technical knowledge within a number of Ford dealerships is woeful in the extreme. I’m very lucky to have one who are absolutely excellent and whilst they accept that they have learnt certain aspects from me they always come up with the goods.

Ive had such a poor experience with my local dealer who class themselves as RS specialists. Wanted FENG switched off and told me a needed to fit the SSC witch i already had.

To be fair they knew how to switch off the Feng and PDC.
