Here’s a picture of my new pride and joy. I have owned it for about 5 weeks now. About 3 days after purchasing it I found out about about it needing the HG recall @ 1700 miles which was a bit of a shock as the salesman assured me ford had resolved the issue. That said, the dealership bent over backwards to carry out the recall work which was just the head gasket and associated parts which was done to a very high standard.</p>

    Hey, congratulation to your beauty!

Yes but now you are safe as your recall is done already and you can start with the fun from the beginning.
My beauty is now at 17’000km on the clock and I am looking to bring her in somewhere in June maybe when all parts available here in Switzerland. Still running fine and had 1st service in January.

    Enjoy your RS =)

Thank you. Yes it’s a relief to have the work carried out and am looking forward to enjoying driving the car now.

Hope you get yours done soon.

What dealer did you get your car from?

If you are looking for extra security we have a fitting day in Paisley for the Ghost immobiliser this Saturday (3rd March)

    Thanks bobcat.

Got the car from parks ford in Inverness.

Thanks for the offer kenny but I am not looking for any extra security at the moment.  I don’t plan doing much to the car apart from an exhaust, but undecided which one to go for.

@ red, sounds a bit like me. I look better in the sun too !

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?
