Kudos to you for persevering with the issues, I think I would have just cried after the cost of the work. Makes me second guess weather to even have the 375 map fitted ?‍♂️

I am with you, I went FPM375 but unforged this engine is pretty much at the extreme’s of tune level. I take my hat off to all who push the parameters, I am no where near that brave.

and also use other forms of logging because some read more info than others

 

laptop is the main one

 

 

I can’t data log on

forscan

torque pro

hp tuners data logger

 

they all have slightly different uses one will see something another wont

 

the tyres were another wake up call/reminder how different they are for sure.

 

 

sabre tuning if you have a remote map can supply you with a box which plugs in and data logs etc so they can remote tweak your map file

@Greg spot on same power less meth so alls good Vert happy

 

we did have a play with the meth kit and it’s now set up via IDC (injector duty cycle)

 

seems to be smoother this way no difference is power though

 

next thing to try is 60/40 meth mix

i think a custom tune from what I have seen with the custom tunes the engines seem to be far more reliable I would have an issue letting sabre map a totally stick car to 400

and a stock car with bolt ons  420/430- exemptions 449

 

cappjng the torque to around 430lbft

I bow to you much greater experience and expertise in this subject and read with great interest. Its early days, what I want is reliability long-term so although there are many tuners that extract extra BHP from all manner of RS based tune’s, its not for me to extract any increase beyond what Ford say is warranty friendly.
