    @nateodogs

    Are you having it dyno’d after all these parts are fitted and any run in time needed if any.

    White rs 2 these parts have been fitted since I’ve run the engine in from 1000 miles

    the dyno sheet was posted earlier

    360.5 bhp

    420 ftlb

    The inlet manifold is bigger and has better flow characteristics from what I can see

    the spacer is for a boost gauge or water meth as I can now fit both as the inlet has a tapping for this also

    The spacer ,I have read report from other manufacturers that it increases tourqe there are several videos to support it on line so I thought what the hell il give it a try

    So the help or the bug question I wanted to ask somebody was

    as previously stated the engine problem I’ve had that ford and Mountune didnt want to know about

    i booked the car into indigo gt for an engine rebuild at 2843 miles

    i had spoken to devil developments and for 3k they fit PEC rods wossener  pistons Athena head gasket arp bolts etc and a mad 420 map

    indigo gt quoted £3700 for Mahle rods

    Je pistons Athena head gasket arp bolts etc. And a custom Ecutek rolling road

    they reduced that cost to £3200

    nut then with a precision turbo  and a map up to 500 bhp price went to £6303

    so ……I booked in with indigo GT

    then.

    Mountune stepped in after a long wait, they want the car back to strip it and investigate it for their own findings so they can future proof their products or prove it was fords failiure…

    Big question: should we be tuning this car? Did Ford get everything from this engine and it should be left alone. Big question.

    @Fcsrs2300

    The Mk3 Focus RS was built to a Ford spec of 400bhp bear in mind the Sierra RS Cosworth was built to a Ford spec of 300bhp and those ended up produced 500+bhp.

    Obviously you’ll  have to change shit loads of stuff to hit 500bhp in either the Focus RS Ecoboost or Sierra RS.

    So yes and no the answer is relative to what you want and how you end up their. The More power, the more bits will need changing.
