Rumored to have 400BHP and due 2020.

That means to keep the current power gap ratio (the RS is approx. 12% more powerful) I expect the new RS to be at least 448BHP.

    Start saving folks.

“The rumour mill” “The word on the ground” etc etc….. is that Ford have three options in test mode at the moment. Pushing around 425 BHP on a hybrid basis.

the Golf looks about as exciting as listening to Comrade Corbyn or Jon Snow drone on . and on..

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

I hope they all don’t all get into a horsepower war, it would be very unseemly. £40k+ for a Golf or Focus would be ridiculous.

Looks almost the same as last Golf R. Just common thing with Golf they never really change that much.

£40k Focus is only around 5 years away with the new RS.

The last of the Mk3’s sold for £37,500 – £39,695.

Ford will bag the lime light and sell for say £32k but by the end of production their would of been a 35% price hike making the RS £40+k.

No other new Focus’s price rose that quickly! Just the RS wonder why ? Answer – Ford knows that the average RS owner is a mug!!!!

    RS Edition.

Unique selling point of the mk3 was that at around 30k it outperformed cars costing much more. Now we’re seeing similar cars costing 40k plus I feel we are missing the original concept/uniqueness.
