    Hello !

I’m new here and I’ve just got my RS 2018 since 2 weeks. It’s a RS+ (as described in my country), so, the “last edition” one in nitrous blue.

I’m from switzerland (Geneva). Before the RS, I owned a Peugeot 206 RC almost 5 years. Now, it’s time to level up πŸ˜‰ I already spent many smiles per kilometers with this new RS and I hope it will last as long as possible !

    Nice to meet you !

    Simon

    Hi Simon, cheers from Basel.

Did you plan any mods yet?

I am running Revo Technik stage1 map, JCR super low seat frames and Mishimoto gas pedal spacer for over 60,000 km now. Just my humble recommendation for genuine Swiss Alpine roads 😎

Oh, and yes, the occasional Deutsche Autobahn with 240 km/h is worthwhile πŸ˜‰

Oh cool, you’re from Basel !

I’m currently searching good mods to add so thank you for your recommendation ! Is it street legal ?

I was thinking about a blow off valve modification ? But I don’t think it will pass the technical control. I already found a good exhaust (Milltek) but I don’t really know if it’s necessary ?

You are lucky to be so close to Germany ! I plan to go there soon πŸ™‚

    Dear Simon,

Back in 2016 I was looking for Mountune but found no dealer in Switzerland. Then I read the article that Kenny had put up in this forum: https://mk3focusrs.club/revo-stage-1-review/

I then met Dominik Marty from MyParts in Aargau: https://myparts.ch/index.php?id_cms=8&controller=cms

He is an expert with Revo and had done a lot of maps in VW, Audi, Fiat. He installed the software without any additional hardware and did two test drives in one afternoon. Costs were like CHF 1’500. This is street legal since the power increase is only about 10%. But the shift of the torque (540 Nm) towards lower revs is the real hammer to this car!

    Drive safe 😎

Oh great, I already heard of “Revo” ! Great to have a good review on it, thank you πŸ™‚

    I found a dealer in Geneva : https://www.rupteur.ch/fr/produits/preparation-moteur/reprogrammations/Ford-Focus-DYB-2.3-EcoBoost-RS-AWD-257kW

It seems to be a good deal !

Drive safe and thank you again !
