Morning!! Tosser here!! ??. My drunken state last night has obviously lead me to read your posts in the wrong light and not as they were intended!! So I’ll hold my hands up and apologise to you for my rant!!

I’m currently warming up a lovely big Humble Pie and looking forward to a slice or 2!! Apologies again…. ??.

    Cheers, Marc.

I’d park the RS in the garage and get the woxhall out !! especially if you live up in the crime central  corridor between Liverpool and Manchester ! get some security on it. innit.

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?

Ok you drunken bum ? I admire a guy that holds his hands up and tbh I’ve done a few drunken posts in my time ??? It was probably the jumped up family hatch quote that set you off, it was what I called my mates RS for a joke and it’s stuck ?

Car has tracker and ghost on and house has detectors pointing at it, it will be garaged in a month or two in the new house but won’t fit in this one.

In answer to ‘are you a Ford guy ‘

First XR 2 Mk 1 in St Helens, first 2.8 i Capri in St Helens (the first four speed ones ) XR 2i, XR3i, re built a 1600 sport MK 2 escort, 2.0 S Capri, then came the family and it was down hill from then for a while, ? 2.0 Cortinas and 2.8 Granadas and such. I bloody wish I had my old Fords now.

This is my first modern Ford for a long time. Had a Jag then a few old Celicas, last one was a nice 190 T sport and also a GT 86 which was nice to drive. Loving this RS at the moment accept for when it took off all over the road at errrrrrrr 70 mph ?

Hi Gordon you have bought one hell of a car and in the best colour,It isnt the best car on the road and neither is it the fastest but the BEST all rounder IMO .I too was a bit disapointed with the “veering steering ” after spending 35K and even more pissed when Ford decided to ignore anyone that bought one and had a problem-That,s the downside of buying a model that is at the end of production.I had the PDC turned off at first service in jan 19 but when it went in for warranty work i think they did a ABS update which switched it back on. The tyres and pressures have a bit to do with handling and a few people have changed tyres and found it dosent tramline as much -enjoy driving it especially when it wet it,s awesome.

    Cheers Andy,

did turning the PDC off completely stop the veering on your car ? I’ve just matched all the tyre pressures to book speck with an accurate gauge ?
