Recently purchased my first RS (Edition with Mountune), luckily just before the third lockdown. Obviously enjoying the car as much as I can but I have one issue, the mud flaps. My driveway has a slight slope (and I mean slight) and no matter how I drive (reverse or not) the mud flaps scrape. So is it worth keeping them on or taking them off?

If there are any top tips for cleaning the car (the forum is great for suggestions), especially the wheels as they get very dirty. As the car is kept outside I want to maintain its condition as much as possible. Security is also high on my agenda (I have ghost immobiliser and purchased faraday pouches) and I’ve seen some chats on the forum about different options but are there any immediate steps I can take to secure the car even more.

    Thanks

Trim an inch or so off the bottom of the flaps?
