Been browsing this site for a while and thought its time I introduced myself. I’m Matt from Cambridge area, always loved the RS brand from the Sierras I remember back in the day when I was a teenager, and my sister working in a Ford dealership and I remember my young eyes locking onto a brand new blue Escort Cosworth…… it was love. I managed to get a Fiesta RS Turbo in the late 90s for a couple of years until I had kids and they killed that off………had some great motorbikes, track days and European trips were great but as I got older the spark started fading, crap weather and inattentive drivers on increasingly busy roads led me to sell up and look for a great drivers car……I always knew it was going to be the RS, all the reviews confirmed what I was looking for. I brought a magnetic grey from York in March and I love it. Done 9,000 miles since then, including a blast down to the Nurburgring in the summer, brilliant car. Getting the FPM375 fitted in January, could not get it fitted before then as Mountune are so busy. Looking forward to many more great drives in a great car……definite keeper!
