    Hi there,

Well I’ve finally taken the jump into Ford ownership.

I bought a 2016 RS last week and can honestly say that I’m pleasantly surprised. A bit lardy, but not a bad drive

Nitrous Blue, all options (head gasket done…!) and standard apart from the previous owners fastidious detail to anti-theft measures….!

Hopefully if I can’t find the answers in previous posts, you’ll kindly point me in the right direction.

Before I sign off, are there any regular meets in the west of Scotland…….. pending this Covid-19 lockdown…..?

    Thanks @bobcat…?

    Hope this isn’t a daft question, but…..

I was a Subaru enthusiast many moons ago, and other owners used to give a wee wave when passing by each other.

I’ve not seen any other RS’s yet but are RS owners as friendly, or is it not the done thing these days….?

@Gordy Welcome ? My daughter asked me “dad why do you always have cars, where they wave to each other all the time?” ? (Subaru, T5, T6 & RS)?

@Gordy, if you get time have a read through the Spotted thread. Yes in the main the RS owners are a really friendly bunch of people. Some of the guys on here organise meet ups.

I’d say 90% of the ones I pass (there aren’t that many though), give me a wave or flash of the lights.

Can’t speak for others but if you’re ever in York I would give you a wave.

Hi Gordy, welcome to the firm. As a rule most RS owners are only too pleased to see a fellow RS and will wave or flash accordingly. Personally I extend this courtesy/respect to all RS products that I see about that have been made over the last 52 years.
