Fair enough but most people down here do not know what a Focus RS is. It is all about V8s and turbo barra engines. It took a while before I could find a performance shop willing to dyno tune an RS.

But I have found one. All they do is tune Ford.

I contacted several Ford tuning shops but they had no interest in the RS. Finally I found BPT Motorsport.

What I would really like to know is when am I getting my exhaust valve delete? I want it. I need it. 🙂

Delete valve great little & cheap mod , easy to fit though I would recommend getting her up on ramp or jack to get easy accessible to tie up the module, doing it on you back ain’t no fun 🤣🤣

Stoked with the Mishimoto cold air intake kit. The matching nitrous blue induction pipe looks sexy asf.

This is the next piece of the puzzle.

Then a dynotune. 😉

The next steps will be a performance intercooler + hot side/cold side pipe upgrade and performance exhuast and maybe a downpipe upgrade. That will not be happening for a while though. Which is why I am curious to see what this valve delete does for me.

I am not sure how far I am going to go with this car. With the Mishimoto intake and Mountune recirc valve fitted. I think I can go for a dynotune of between 380-390 at the fly without melting the engine internals. I may rebuild the engine/upgrade the turbo/gearbox etc. when I do the additional mods and aim for some serious gains on the dyno. Completely undecided.

The RS is a fun car to drive regardless. 🙂
