This is on a frosen lake i bit up north in Sweden… I drove on special tires with 6mm studs so it was pretty funny… ? Everyone should do this once every winter… ?

@white-rs2 They are cheapo 18″ calibre wheels with winter tyres that I bought from Rochford Tyres on Ebay for £700 complete with tuner bolts. I bought them before my RS was delivered and this is the first winter I have had them on as the RS arrived after the weather had improved past the road salt period. As the car is my daily driver I needed winter tyres so decided to get some cheap sacrificial wheels but am amazed that there is no corrosion on them despite costing so little as the 700 included the winter tyres (not a top make but I drive to the conditions in winter being a motorcyclist I know how grip is compromised even when dry due to the salt leaching the contaminants from the road surface) and it is only the nuts that show any signs of deterioration. I am considering the Mountune OZ leggera’s in matt bronze though , due to the weight reduction from even the forged wheels.
