Really enjoyed the show. Nice with the flags and number plates.

Good to meet the othe RS owners and see what they have done to their cars.

I eventually was brave enough to take it on the track, which was my first time in a road car.

Brajes got a bit hot towards the end. Need to flush the system and change it to 5.1 high temperature oil.

Also buy some toyo tyres if I’m going to have another go.

Hope to see more of the club members at the next one.

Great day at castle combe  nice to to meet some of the guys and girls, Not brave enough to take my RS around the track but went out in the mk3 RS track car… IT WAS BLOODY UNBELIEVABLE…  A special thanks to Kenny for organizing a great day.. PS put me down for silverstone .

@joet31 – does the helmet have to be a full-face version or can you use the open face Sparco Club type? Nice action photos!

Good going for a first spin out in your own car @mart – your car looked the nuts on the H&R springs! Dashcam handy for the footage – pity it didn’t show speed as well. Not a sniff of veering steering to be seen!!

Yeah totally enjoyed it.

Nope no veering steering, only on uneven roads. But the track was ace.

Doesnt matter what lid you use.

The car did seam a lot lower than the rest, but they are only H&R 20 mm

I’ve just ordered the eibach springs and I’m going to get my wheels re-sprayed ?

Next on my list potentially:

Mountune Short Shift / Mountune braided lines / seat lowering kit.

(It was an expensive day!)

 

I’ll be at Ford Fair @Kenny but unfortunately I booked with another club a while ago now. I’ll come over and say hello to everyone though ?
