My car has been rough idling on warm start all of a sudden and once the car is warm it will do this. Have not done the (hgr) as iv never had an issue. Iv had it in last week and pressure test done and told the head gasket it fine. Anyone had this issue. Drives the same but for like 5 seconds on startup sometimes just sounds like it’s struggling ?
You have not had the head gasket recall done? so you are on the original ( wrong) headgasket?? You do know that the wrong headgasket effectively blocks a water way that is supposed to flow from the block to the cylinder head? That causes localized overheating of the cylinder head and eventually will cause the head to warp slightly and release grip on the gasket and you have gasket failure and warped head and possibly a hydraulic’d engine if you let it get too bad! Are you 100% sure your coolant level has not dropped at all? Did the chap doing the pressure test do it correctly? ie for a minimum of 5 hours on a stone cold engine and starting at 20psi?
Does it occur every hot start? or just after filling the fuel tank..
No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.
Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.
