It’s been their since the 29th December 2019 and it’s still their I did say take your time lol so alls good ?.

First two weeks was taking the head off and sent away getting in ported and polished etc.

Spec should be plus all the additional stuff required:

Flex Fuel Sensor – Syvecs for methanol Devil Dev

BP285 cams – Piper to rev to 7000+rpm and make power with duplex springs. Devil Dev

NX2 Turbo – Adam Tune+ USA

Syvecs ECU – With additional Oil Pressure Sensor, Bluetooth and Toucan Display – Devil Dev

Wastegate actuator 14lbs – Mountune USA

5x Maps – Devil Dev

Maps – 1-Economy & 5-Full Race

Maps 2-3-4 stages from Eco to Full Race

The 1000cc injectors where recommended by Devils. So I’m just going along with them, maybe or might be something to do with pouring Methanol direct into the petrol tank so the mix would be petrol / methanol upto 30% mix.

Rather than using an Aquamist (previously my prefered) or AEM system and all the extra wiring and plumbing in.

The Flex Fuel Sensor sends data to the Syvecs as fuel passes threw it, be it with zero methanol or 30% methanol and adjusts which ever map you are using to that fuel at that time. Which is pretty clever really.

Today is a good day a very good day. Thank you Mr 9Designs for the good omen of 601 smashed it………………………..lol by 9 bhp

The car has been on a 4wd dyno all day with Lee from Devil Developments doing his magic on SRD Tunings Dyno and has come back with a finalised map

Running 587bhp on Shell V-Power. His previous map gave 540bhp

Running 610bhp with Methanol added (M30). No previous.

Syvecs has traction control amongst a shed load of other Performance features.

My previous map was a custom Litchfield map on a Cobb handset and that made 422bhp and was fairly entertaining.

Bit my previous modded car was a YB turbo 525bhp Ford Escort Mk2 RS2000 and that was bonkers

All I received was a txt from Lee giving the numbers. I should know more on Monday hopefully.

Now Mountune are specifying a clutch upgrade to go along with their M450 & M520 upgrades. This wasn’t offered originally to any of the first customers so why have they had a change of thought??

Whats a tad concerning their is no torque rating on the clutch which is pretty important more so than the bhp figure.

Would love to hear from anyone who has Syvecs on their Mk3 RS and how to write changes to stop the RDU shutting off as per Ford settings and adding the auto blip on downshifting.
