I keep getting told these are the plugs to use and are the best for the RS with high boost and a bigger than OEM turbo.

As their priced as the best I’m expecting good results over the next month or so

These replace the DENSO ITV27 plugs, they haven’t been gapped they are as they come out of the box so basically pretty wide.

These are replacing the DENSO ITV27 plugs I’ve been using for two years and the last set coked up and it’s 50/50 if they recover and as these developed a high rpm misfire I guess they did not recover.

which gave me the reason to try the highly recommended by lots of people and tuners and so in went the RUTHENIUM LTR7BHX PLUGS

DENSON ITV27 removed from the car. These haven’t been gapped they went from the box into the car so gap is quite big compared to the 0.026 of the Ruthenium plugs.

Had my last mapping session completed at Devil Developments and the numbers roll out as –

    On V-Power 523whp

    V-Power & Methanol 560whp

    Crank power 605bhp

As Devils are still unpacking stuff and that includes their printer for the dyno I have no print out, to go over.

The only remaining mod to consider would be a 3.5” exhaust to aid faster turbo spool up and reduce any remaining lag which to be honest is minimal.

I did about 20 miles with them yesterday in traffic so I was basically in low boost mode about 400bhp and they felt good smooth pick no hint of a misfire or stutter at any speed or rpm.

So far so good seems like a good shout Mr Nate 👍 I need to do some spirited driving on open roads

I was much the same power at Devils. Made 574whp with methanol but was told the same about the printout as they had just moved.

planning on taking it to MSD for a power run and printout as they are considerably closer.

Are you thinking of more mods and chasing more power?

It’s not a short drive for me going to Devils average is 6 hours each way but each visit is worth the drive.

The only mod I’m considering is the 3.5” exhaust forcgreater exhaust gas removal so spool up time will be virtually instant and the minimal lag would become even less.

As for power figure chasing I’m not going any further on. The exhaust may free up a few bhp by increasing the flow but that’s just a happy byproduct

I read that these spark plugs also reduce the amount of “white smoke” on a cold start.  Have you noticed any difference?

Not noticed any before or after fitment as the cars kept in a heated garage so I guess no condensation / moisture gets in the exhaust over night.

I might get them and give them a try at some point see if they find reduce the smoke on start up since mine is really smokey.  I currently use the ones from mountune

Me? Just the m400x I will get a proper stage 2 done at sabre at some point.  It’s been on those iridium plugs since I got it and I used to replace them every service just because I wanted to prevent any issues.. And well that didn’t save my piston 🤦🏽‍♂️😂.
