Welcome @fatrab car looks immaculate. I’m from north Ayrshire and again don’t hear of many meets.

I used to go to the Tartan Tarmac monthly meet regularly but it was a mixed bag and became a bit too big and they struggled to find a venue big enough. Could maybe arrange a Central Scotland meet one day, once the better weather arrives! Be good to get together and compare notes!

Car is pretty tidy, there’s one or two wee blemishes needing addressed though. 2 stone chips and a little ding on one of the doors, plus the alloys will be going for a refurb at some point. There’s no kerb rash, just some oxidation. Other than that it appears to have been very well looked after.

Viewed a few others and wasn’t particularly impressed by them, I actually wanted magnetic grey but this one was too tidy not to buy it!

I’ve got a few door dings to sort too. Need to find a good paintless dent removal person. Winters have ruined my alloys, like permanently brown haha. Magnetic grey is a nice colour.  I got blue purely because of the spec

Would definitely be good to arrange something when the weather is a bit better.

Welcome Rab, if you’re keeping it on the drive, I’d consider good home security too. I’m in the west midlands and it’s all too popular here that houses get burgled just for the car keys.

I’ve put antisnap locks on my doors, outside lighting and a decent home alarm.

Besides that, it’s disclock tracker and Ghost for me.

Don’t let this put you off though, just enjoy the RS!

@stu-c already got cctv and a vicious dog, but not sure the wife appreciates me calling her that 😱

I reckon Ghost is imminent, got a conversation to have with my mate who is a Transit specialist and knows the security side of things inside out first though.

I’ve got a guy from Hamilton who is excellent but very hard to pin down as he’s so busy, if that’s any use to you let me know and I’ll pass on his details to you!
