Smart Garage Opener

Thought I’d share this, bought a smart garage opener the other week, just 2 wires connect to your existing garage opener and then you can open/close it from your phone. You can also control it via Google and add icon’s to Android Auto so you can control it from the car’s screen. Works a treat. You set a 4 digit pass code you have to say each time you open it using Google or Alexa. Using the manufacturers app on your phone does not require the pass code to be entered.

You can also use a separate app, IFTTT (If This Then That), to set up geo-location if you want it to open when you phone enters a certain area.

good idea,i have to use the remote on mine lol  what if someone hacks it and then can open up your garage too? there always seems to be a way around these sort of things
