High everyone, I recently purchased a MK3 and noticed on a cold start the exhaust steam only comes out of the right pipe, could you please explain the reason for this. I previously had the MK2 and steam came from both pipes so I found it unusual.

    thanks

There is a flap inside the left hand pipe that is closed in normal mode.

my flap opens on the left one on cold start and I get ‘steam’ out on a cold morning ( and sound!) then after a while I guess it closes? That’s in normal mode by the way. Check that the flap “cycles” open and shut when you first open the door, (get someone to open door while gaze up the left pipe innit)you will also get the weird beeping sound also.

    No nothing.

No Mods. No rockers. Just a chunky knob, thats now been replaced by an RS knob innit.

    No tackiness.

Std as Ford intended, but with a space saver wheel and jack and nuts and wheel brace. oh.. and flaps, a man has got to have flaps.

    Innit?
