Stone trapped between brake disc and guard!

Chaps,

After less than a week of ownership I can say I almost shat myself at hearing what sounded like my exhaust dragging as I pulled off the drive… After much head scratching I found that in fact a stone had managed to wedge itself between the rear brake disc and the metal guard!! Luckily I heard it straight away (impossible not to!) but meant having to take the wheel off and getting under the car to pull it out. Maybe a freak occurrence but certainly one I’ve not had before!

Bet that was not a pleasant sound! Did it do any damage? Have you got mudflaps fitted?

Sounded horrific! Thankfully no damage – think it must have got caught as I reversed onto the drive. No mud flaps although I cant see how they would have helped this one!
