what did everyone drive before an RS?

I was driving a Fiesta ST as a stop gap car for about 8 months whilst waiting for my RS. Before that I had an R34 GTR V Spec for about 5 years, which needless to say I absolutely loved.

I went through a Renault phase: 172, 197, Megane RS250, 2011 RS200 (wonderful car). Before that, a couple of Audi’s and a couple of Fords. I can honestly say that the RS200 is as close to my heart as this Focus is, I absolutely loved it.

@howsey i did enjoy my clio trophy  had a 172 cup before that ,although it never really grabbed me like my renault 5 gt turbo did , i still have my 5 gt turbo , as much as i was a big renault fan i have always loved ford rs’s and glad ive made the jump .

Civic Type-R EP3 Premier Edition had the car nearly 9 years.  Now locked away awaiting restoration by my brother to bring it up to show car standard.  Loved the VTEC.  Brilliant car not one fault in the whole time.

Had the scooby from new, currently running an FST2 as my daily driver although this will be going up for sale in the coming week as RS due in March

Then we have the Strada Abarth 130tc that I have had since i was a spotty teenager, have so many fond memories associated with this car do not think I will ever sell her, 2ltr twin cam, twin 45 webers and bags of fun
